Nassos is a prominent professional in the field of compliance, particularly known for his expertise in anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorist financing (CTF) and Sanction compliance. Currently serving as Head of Compliance and Information Security Officer at Abacus Limited. A Fellow Chartered Accountant with ICAEW and a certified Risk Management Specialist on Russian sanctions, he brings two decades of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, assurance and cybersecurity. Nassos has led national AML risk assessments in collaboration with the Central Bank of Cyprus and the World Bank and is a Lead Implementer for ISO 27001. He has served as Chairman of ICPAC’s AML & Compliance Committee and is a founding member and Vice-Chair of the ACAMS Cyprus Chapter. Nassos regularly advises governmental and private organizations on complex compliance frameworks and has delivered expert training across Europe.
