Theodoros Loukaidis is the Director General of the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), the national funding agency for research, technological development and innovation in Cyprus. He has extensive experience in technology and commercial roles in Cyprus and abroad, having led multi-million technology and business transformation programmes, launched new lines of business and taken new services to the market. He started his career in Cyprus where he worked in local telcos and then moved to London, where he held strategy and business development roles in large multinational corporations, including CKHH and Colt. He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School (UK), an MSc degree in Communications and Signal Processing from Imperial College London and a BEng (Hons), First Class, in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from UMIST (UK).
