Adam Sambrook
Deputy British High Commissioner to the Republic of Cyprus
Adam Sambrook is the Deputy British High Commissioner to the Republic of Cyprus.
He assumed his role in February 2025.
Adam has previously served in Tel Aviv as Second Secretary Political, Deputy Head of Mission in Bucharest, and Political Counsellor in Baghdad. He also held a variety of roles in London including roles focused on Europe, the Middle East and climate
change. He has specialised in security policy and strategic affairs, covering issues from European defence to strategic threats.
Adam joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in 2001, and is a graduate in philosophy from King’s College, Cambridge University.
